Role Summary

The Website / Communications Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining, and upgrading the organization’s website and digital communication channels. The role supports marketing and communications objectives through effective content management, digital engagement, and website performance optimization, while ensuring brand consistency, security, and user experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, manage, implement, and continuously upgrade the organization’s website to ensure optimal performance and usability.
  • Execute marketing and communications strategies through content creation, storytelling, and digital engagement initiatives.
  • Curate and manage digital content and narratives to drive traffic, engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Ensure website security by implementing appropriate security measures and responding to potential breaches.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues, including performance errors and technical faults.
  • Create and manage website content in alignment with organizational strategy and brand guidelines.
  • Manage blogs, web pages, and editorial content, including writing, editing, and publishing.
  • Analyze website performance using web analytics tools and provide insights for improvement.
  • Manage and oversee all social media platforms to ensure consistent messaging and audience engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Website Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong web content writing and editorial skills.
  • Proven content management and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools and performance reporting.
  • Strong social media management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Solid knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
