Job Description:
The Steel Fixer is responsible for interpreting steel reinforcement drawings, compiling bar bending schedules, ordering steel in line with relevant codes, and executing reinforcement work on-site as per specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Read and interpret steel reinforcement drawings.
- Compile and prepare bar bending schedules accurately.
- Place orders for steel in compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Install reinforcement according to relevant drawings and technical specifications.
Requirements & Skills
Requirement:
Third-country national (TCN) with a valid work permit in the EU
Education & Experience
- Proven experience in steel fixing or similar construction roles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
Languages
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
