Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and reliable Plant Operators to join a leading construction materials company in Malta. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing batching plant operations, maintaining production quality, and ensuring smooth day-to-day plant performance.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Follow all filing and operational instructions as provided by the Sales Clerk.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all filing and batching operations.
- Regularly operate and monitor the standby plant to ensure readiness and efficiency.
- Conduct visual checks on all aggregates received and coordinate with the Laboratory Technician for material testing.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on plant equipment.
- Keep daily production records of concrete output.
- Ensure adequate supply of cement and aggregate materials at all times.
- Make necessary automatic or manual adjustments at the batching plant to align with observed or reported changes in material or concrete quality.
Requirements:
- European citizens or other country nationals with a valid work permit
- Previous experience as a plant or batching operator preferred.
- Knowledge of concrete batching processes and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate production data.
- Physically fit and able to perform maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently and follow production schedules.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
