Learning & Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement learning strategies, SOPs, and programs aligned with the organization’s objectives.
  • Design competency frameworks and career development pathways for technical and non-technical staff.
  • Analyze training data and prepare reports to measure learning effectiveness.
  • Design and produce training materials, including e-learning courses.
  • Conduct training needs assessments across departments (production, quality, maintenance, safety, etc.).
  • Implement blended learning approaches (classroom, e-learning, and on-the-job training).
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the talent lifecycle, from onboarding to senior leadership development.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Design and deliver learning, leadership development, talent, and organizational development (OD) solutions.
  • Apply strong project management and execution skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or professional L&D qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in Learning & Development, Training Delivery, or Talent Development (corporate or consulting environment preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in blended learning design, classroom training, and e-learning content management.
  • Experience with LMS administration, assessments, and training evaluation methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise with clients, line managers, and external vendors.
  • Excellent facilitation, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with learning authoring tools is an advantage.
