Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for senior executives, including the CEO, Managing Directors, and other high-level personnel to meetings, appointments, events, and other designated locations.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient and safe routes, utilizing in-depth knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic patterns, and navigation tools (e.g., Google Maps) to ensure timely arrivals.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle in impeccable condition, ensuring it is always clean, well-maintained, and in excellent working order. This includes routine checks (oil, tire pressure, fuel), scheduling and overseeing regular servicing, and addressing any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Adhere strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Exercise the highest level of discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding all executive movements, conversations, and sensitive information.
  • Assist executives with the loading and unloading of luggage, briefcases, and other materials as needed.
  • Complete daily trip logs, records, and reports accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinate effectively with executive assistants and other relevant staff to align schedules and travel logistics.
  • Be flexible with working hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends, to accommodate executive schedules.
  • Proactively identify and report any potential hazards or security concerns related to transportation.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the executives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of SSCE/High School Certificate.
  • A valid Nigerian Driver’s License (with a clean driving record).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of verifiable experience as an Executive Driver, with a proven track record of driving for senior management (e.g., CEOs, Directors, HODs).
  • Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Lagos Road networks, alternative routes, and traffic patterns across various areas (e.g., Island and Mainland).
  • Proficiency in using navigation applications (e.g., Google Maps).
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting.
