Role Overview
Our client, a leading furniture company based in Lagos, is seeking an experienced Corporate Sales Manager to drive business growth, manage corporate sales operations, and expand the company’s presence within institutional, commercial, and corporate markets. The role focuses on strategic sales leadership, client relationship management, and market expansion across furniture and interior solution offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales growth and meet or exceed revenue targets through effective leadership and management of the corporate sales team.
- Design and implement strategic sales and business plans to expand the company’s corporate and institutional customer base.
- Build, promote, and sustain long-term relationships with corporate clients by understanding their furnishing, workspace, and interior needs.
- Prepare and present sales performance reports, revenue updates, expense analysis, and realistic sales forecasts to management.
- Identify emerging markets, industry trends, and shifts in customer demand within the furniture and interior solutions market.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, product offerings, and market positioning.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and installation teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in corporate sales or business development, preferably within the furniture, interior design, construction, or manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of advanced sales leadership and competence in corporate sales environments.
- Strong understanding of furniture market dynamics, including product positioning, distribution channels, and customer adoption.
- In-depth knowledge of furniture products, materials, design trends, and innovations locally and internationally.
- Relevant professional certifications in Marketing, Sales, or related business disciplines will be an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to guide clients on furniture selection, space planning, and installation processes.
