Role Overview
Our client, an Integrated Information Technology company based in Lagos, is seeking an experienced Corporate Sales Manager to lead and grow its IT hardware and software sales operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the sales team, expanding the customer base, and strengthening the company’s market presence within the ICT sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales growth and meet or exceed revenue targets through effective management and leadership of the sales team.
- Design and implement a strategic business and sales plan to expand the company’s customer base and ensure a strong market presence.
- Build, manage, and promote long-term customer relationships by understanding client needs and delivering tailored IT solutions.
- Prepare and present sales performance reports, revenue updates, expense analysis, and realistic forecasts to management.
- Identify emerging markets, market trends, and shifts, while staying informed on new products, technologies, and competitive activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in business development or corporate sales within the IT hardware and software industry.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and competence in business development and the ICT sector.
- Strong understanding of IT hardware market dynamics, including product penetration, distribution channels, and market adoption.
- In-depth knowledge of IT hardware products, their evolution, latest versions, and emerging technologies locally and globally.
- Relevant professional certification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or ICT-related disciplines.
- Proven training and mentoring capabilities in IT hardware, including the ability to guide clients on IT
