Role Overview
Our client, an Integrated Information Technology company based in Lagos, is seeking an experienced Computer Hardware Service Manager to lead its ICT hardware operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT hardware services, supervising technical teams, implementing innovative solutions, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of computer systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of IT specialists and hardware technicians.
- Introduce innovative hardware solutions to improve system performance and service delivery.
- Set up, configure, and deploy computer hardware and related IT equipment.
- Design, implement, and maintain system security measures for hardware and network infrastructure.
- Manage and oversee information technology and computer systems across the organization.
- Perform and coordinate troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair activities.
- Schedule and oversee routine system maintenance, upgrades, and network improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware repairs, maintenance, and fixes.
- Ensure regular data backup, recovery, and restoration processes are implemented and tested.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- EPSON/HP Printers Repair Expert Technician.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and competence within the ICT and business development (BD) environment.
- Strong understanding of IT hardware market dynamics, including product penetration, distribution, and adoption.
- In-depth knowledge of IT hardware products, their evolution, latest versions, and emerging technologies both locally and globally.
- Relevant professional certifications in ICT or hardware-related fields.
- Proven training and mentoring capabilities in IT hardware, including guiding clients on installation and use of IT equipment.
