International Business Development Manager

 Introduction:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic International Business Development Manager to drive global market expansion, build high value partnerships, and accelerate international revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, cultural awareness, and proven experience developing business opportunities across multiple international markets.

Responsibilities:

* Identify, research, and evaluate new international markets, trends, and business opportunities.

* Develop entry and expansion strategies for targeted global regions.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, agents, clients, and global partners.

* Represent the company at international trade shows, business forums, and industry events.

* Negotiate and manage agreements, contracts, and partnership arrangements.

* Drive international sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability.

* Develop region-specific proposals, commercial offers, and pricing strategies.

* Monitor global sales performance and provide periodic reports to leadership.

* Ensure compliance with international trade laws, export/import regulations, and country-specific requirements.

* Oversee documentation for cross-border business activities.

* Collaborate with marketing, operations, finance, legal, and logistics teams to support international operations.

* Provide cultural and market insights to adapt products, messaging, and strategy.

* Conduct competitor analysis and monitor global industry trends and risks.

* Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables for international expansion initiatives.

Experience / Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related discipline.

* MBA preferred strategic management, international business, or marketing.

* Minimum 10 years of sales/business development experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.

* Proven experience managing international sales, partnerships, or market expansion.

* Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

* Ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders across cultures.

* Excellent knowledge of global market dynamics and regulatory environments.

* Open to Indian Nationals.

* Willingness to travel internationally as required.
